Job summary

DKatalis in Singapore seeks a senior engineering leader to join our APAC squad. You will drive design, delivery and operation of scalable digital products, leading front-end and back-end work while mentoring engineers to ship robust services.

You will foster a culture of feedback, align with product and design, and push for quality, security, and performance across platforms. This role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication to build end-to-end experiences that delight customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role developing highly scalable applications.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
• mastery of abstract programming concepts and/or design patterns, and in libraries or frameworks (OOP or FP)
• Hands-on expertise in Java / Javascript or its derivatives (TypeScript, NodeJS, Scala, Kotlin, Springboot, etc)
• Hands on experience on either Flutter or React for front-end development framework.
• Experience with Lean/XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration/Delivery for both Mobile & Back-end)
• Experience working in Agile Software development
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively across distributed teams in a multicultural environment.
• You’re excited about delivering end-to-end experiences and care about your software architecture across the front-end, back-end, and the APIs that glue them together
• You’re excited to mentor and groom the team collectively to become their better version of themselves, in realms of technicality and personal development.

About the role

You will be part of a cross-functional agile engineering team (squad) responsible to build, deploy and run (support) one or more of our digital products, focusing on leading the team to deliver robust & resilient systems (front-end & back-end).You will work closely with Engineers, Product, Design, and other stakeholders, collaboratively ensuring quality gets built into the product, see your impact in many people's everyday lives, andlead the team while doing it.You will share your learnings within and beyond your team (squad) and mentor budding engineers for good engineering practices. You will foster a culture of providing feedback within the team, between teams, and to stakeholders. You will understand when to provide private feedback and when to provide public feedback. You will also help others to provide feedback.
