A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is looking for a Staff Registrar to contribute to the Department of Paediatrics. You will provide direct patient care and manage patients under the specialists. Responsibilities include supervising junior staff, teaching trainees, and participating in medical education and research. Job description

For the role of a Staff Registrar, you will contribute to the Department of Paediatrics in terms of clinical service and training. You will be immediately responsible for the total management of patients under the charge of the specialists.

Job Responsibilities
  • To provide direct patient care.
  • To participate and/or organise team/modular patient care.
  • To supervise junior staff in clinical care.
  • To teach undergraduates and postgraduate trainees.
  • To conform to the appropriate standard of medical and clinical service quality within the department.
  • To take part in Medical Teaching, Training, Continuing Medical Education and Research activities.
  • To facilitate and assist in clinical servives development, manpower planning and performance management.
Job Requirements
  • MBBS or post graduate qualification recognised by Singapore Medical Council;
  • At least 3 years’ of Medical Officer experience;
  • Able to perform independently in Department;
  • Highly adaptive and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Must be able to do calls.
