Senior Recruiter (Contract based)

As AMD continues its high growth trajectory, our world class Talent Acquisition team is expanding to meet the increased demand. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be tasked to fill exciting Engineering roles across a business unit or a portfolio of business units.

The Person:

She/he is an expert at all aspects of talent acquisition and drives business impact by hiring the right talent at the right time at the right cost. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist takes pride in owning the recruiting process full lifecycle — from the development and execution of sourcing strategy to assessment and ultimately negotiations, offer and hire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own full-cycle recruitment for Engineering roles from requisition to offer acceptance within the SEA region.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role profiles, success criteria, and interview processes.
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and direct outreach; cultivate passive candidate relationships.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone/video interviews, and assess candidate fit for skills, experience, culture, and potential.
  • Coordinate interviews, prepare candidates and hiring teams, and manage feedback loops to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Develop and maintain a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates; maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
  • Negotiate offers, handle candidate questions, and manage acceptance and onboarding logistics.
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, pipeline quality) and report to leadership.
  • Continuously improve sourcing strategies, interview processes, and employer branding for sales roles.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, career fairs, and industry meetups as needed.
Experience and Skills:
  • Agency or in-house hiring experiences in Engineering.
  • Able to analyze resumes and determine appropriate candidates to fill vacancies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with an ATS.
  • Able to manage complex, confidential information in a matrixed environment.
  • Develop and execute strategy for identifying and delivering top talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate effectively on complex technologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
