Job description

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing: using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for customers and partners. The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.

As the NAND Product Development Team Lead, you will drive end-to-end product development, leading cross-functional teams to deliver next-generation NAND technologies from silicon to system. You will define and execute product development strategies, incorporating data-driven and AI-enabled insights into actionable plans that accelerate execution and improve outcomes.

In this role, you will represent the NAND engineering organization and serve as the key interface with strategic partners across business units, quality, fabrication, test, and supply chain to ensure competitive time-to-market. You will provide leadership, alignment, and decision‑making across complex development programs, balancing technical, operational, and business priorities.

This is a highly visible, high‑impact leadership role with broad scope, offering the opportunity to shape Micron's technology roadmap and drive product enablement alongside a strong, cross‑functional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct NAND deliverables and sample delivery schedules in sync with NAND/System development timelines
  • Drive system-level integration of NAND technology, working closely with Technology Development and Design Engineering to enable seamless adoption into SSD and end‑customer applications
  • Provide cross-functional leadershipacross Product Engineering, Business Units, Supply Chain, Fab, Assembly, and Test to ensure aligned execution and on‑time delivery
  • Communicate accurate priorities within NAND Development team to maintain project schedules.
  • Represent in product development review, lead product engineering meetings and collaborate for plans and changes required to achieve NAND BIC execution.
  • Build NAND engineering-focused development schedule from Network Build pre‑silicon planning stage. Drive tactical execution from pre‑silicon readiness through successful NAND qualification.
  • Ensure NAND technical inputs and limitations are considered to enable successful Build‑at‑Risk and parallel development model.
  • Represent Product Engineering in key development forums, leading cross‑functional discussions, influencing decisions, and aligning stakeholders on program direction and trade‑offs
  • Drive NAND capability readiness and data reviews, ensuring system development progresses toward successful customer qualification and sample delivery
  • Lead complex problem solving across NAND‑system interactions, guiding teams through ambiguity to resolve issues and maintain program momentum
  • Ability to use AI for tool creation, automation and problem solving to help accelerate product development
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years or equivalent experience in semiconductor industry.
  • Highly self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual eager to work in a diverse, global cross‑functional engineering environment with focus on development
  • Exhibits a growth mindset and possesses outstanding problem‑solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills are crucial.
  • Prior experience in leading product development projects or acting in similar capacity would be of added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of NAND device/design and/or System firmware/design
  • Familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar) or a strong interest in leveraging emerging technologies to enhance engineering productivity and decision‑making
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
