Job summary

NTUC Health Co-operative Limited is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high‑level nursing care in a residential setting. You will work with doctors and a multidisciplinary team to monitor residents, document changes, adjust care plans, and ensure safe medication practices.

The role requires eligible local or foreign nursing qualifications and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board, with a focus on delivering preventive and rehabilitative care while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Locally trained nurses with approved nursing qualifications.
• Foreign trained nurses with board pass recognized for practice.
• Registration with SNSB (Singapore Nursing Board) required.

Responsibilities

• Complies with approved standards of nursing practices.
• Provides nursing services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills.
• Collaborates with resident's doctor and multidisciplinary team to provide care.
• Updates on changes in resident's conditions and needs.
• Ensures care delivery and nursing interventions per care plan.
• Evaluates residents' responses and revises care plans as needed.
• Works with Allied Health professionals and initiates preventive procedures.
• Carries out and supervises assessments of new admissions.
• Prepares and administers medications to residents with safe practices.
• Responsible for safe keeping of controlled drugs.
• Manages emergencies and escalates promptly to supervisor when necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean nursing home environment.
• Participates in internal nursing documentation audits.

Education

Locally Trained Registered Nurse with Advanced Diploma in Nursing/Bachelor's degree in Nursing ver. August 2020

Foreign Trained Registered Nurse with Degree or Diploma in Nursing with Board Pass

• Updates on changes in resident's conditions and needs
• Ensures care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan
• Evaluates the resident's response to care interventions and recommends revision of care plan as necessary
• Works with Allied Health professionals and/or initiates preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
• Carries out and supervises assessments of new admissions
• Prepares and administers medications to residents and comply with safe medication practices
• Responsible for safe keeping of control drugs
• Manages any emergency that arises and ensures prompt actions to mitigate the situation and elevate promptly to supervisor, where necessary
• Works with staff to maintain a safe and clean environment in the nursing home
• Participates in internal nursing documentation audits

Qualification

• Locally Trained Registered Nurse with Advanced Diploma in Nursing/Bachelor's degree in Nursing ver. August 2020
• Foreign Trained Registered Nurse with Degree or Diploma in Nursing with Board Pass (Professional Regulation Council, PRC)
• Registration with Singapore Nursing Board
