Job summary

A leading healthcare recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Staff Nurse specializing in Operating Theatre and Plastic Surgery. The ideal candidate will perform perioperative duties, assist surgeons, and ensure compliance with aseptic techniques. A valid nursing license and prior OT experience are required. This permanent position offers a monthly salary of $4,500 to $5,500.

Qualifications

• Valid Staff Nurse license with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Prior experience in operating theatre scrub.
• Advanced Diploma in Perioperative Nursing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform perioperative duties including scrubbing and circulating.
• Assist in minor surgical procedures and prepare instruments.
• Monitor patients' condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patients’ condition pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Manage inventory, surgical supplies, and maintain OT equipment.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with infection control standards.
• Support clinic operations and patient care when required.

Position: Staff Nurse (Operating Theatre / Plastic Surgery)
Employment Type: Permanent or Locum-to-Perm
Sector: Healthcare / Specialist Clinic
Location: Novena
Salary:

• Permanent: $4,500 – $5,500 per month
• Locum: $32 per hour

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
• Saturday: 8:30am – 1:00pm (5.5-day work week)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform perioperative nursing duties including scrubbing, circulating, and assisting in minor surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating theatre and instruments prior to procedures.
• Assist plastic surgeon during surgeries, ensuring strict aseptic techniques are followed.
• Monitor patients’ condition pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Manage inventory, surgical supplies, and maintain OT equipment.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with infection control standards.
• Support clinic operations and patient care when required.

Requirements

• Valid Staff Nurse license with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• Prior OT scrub experience required, preferably in plastic or aesthetic surgery.
• Advanced Diploma in Perioperative Nursing is an advantage.
