Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is looking for a Staff Nurse to deliver advanced person-centred nursing care in a nursing home setting. The nurse will supervise junior staff, support ward operations, and ensure compliance with clinical standards across rotating shifts. Requirements include a valid RN registration and a nursing diploma. This role offers a competitive salary range of $2,730 – $4,420 and the opportunity for professional growth through in-service teaching and participation in nursing committees.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current SNB registration.
  • Diploma in Nursing.
  • Able to work three rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced, person-centred nursing care.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff.
  • Support ward operations in the absence of Nurse Managers.
  • Care planning and evaluation.
  • Medication management and emergency response.
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration and quality assurance.
  • Lead shift operations and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Promote a safe and clean environment.
  • Mentor staff and facilitate training.
  • Support discharge planning and assist doctors in clinical procedures.
  • Participate in In-Service teaching and continuing education.
  • Participate in Home and nursing committees.
  • Conduct nursing research and systematic review of practices.
  • Assist in performance appraisals and deputise the Nurse Manager.
