Job summary

A community-focused healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to provide home-based nursing care for individuals with chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma or degree, with 1–2 years of experience and strong interpersonal skills. In this role, you will conduct assessments, perform nursing procedures, and educate clients and families while adapting to diverse environments. Qualifications

  • Registered with SNB.
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience; community care experience is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and travel for daily home visits.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular home visits and comprehensive nursing assessments.
  • Perform nursing procedures like wound care and catheterization.
  • Work closely with doctors and caregivers to coordinate care plans.
  • Educate clients and families on basic home nursing and self-care techniques.
  • Refer clients to relevant financial or psychosocial support services.
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation in line with PDPA standards.
  • Achieve a minimum of 7 home visits per day.
  • Support occasional outreach or fundraising activities as needed.

About Metta HomeCare (慈光居家护理服务)

Since 2015, Metta HomeCare has provided compassionate, home-based nursing and medical care for individuals with chronic illnesses or organ failure. Our goal is to reduce hospital readmissions and empower seniors to age in place with dignity, comfort, and continuity of care.

As a Staff Nurse, you’ll play a key role in bringing medical support into the homes of vulnerable clients, helping them maintain quality of life in the community they know and love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular home visits and comprehensive nursing assessments
  • Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterisation, NG tube insertion/removal, etc.
  • Work closely with doctors and caregivers to coordinate care plans
  • Educate clients and families on basic home nursing and self-care techniques
  • Refer clients to relevant financial or psychosocial support services
  • Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation in line with PDPA standards
  • Achieve a minimum of 7 home visits per day
  • Support occasional outreach or fundraising activities as needed
What You Bring
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing, registered with SNB
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience (community care experience a plus)
