Job summary

A leading healthcare group in Singapore is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse to assess and admit patients for procedures, assist during endoscopy, and maintain infection control standards. The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma and 1-2 years of experience, with proficiency in Mandarin to engage with Chinese-speaking patients. The role involves a 5.5-day work week in Orchard, offering a dynamic environment focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in Nursing or Specialist Diploma in Endoscopy Nursing with SNB registration.
• Min. 1-2 years’ experience in nursing duties, preferably in endoscopy suite or day surgery.
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and common complications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients for endoscopy procedures.
• Prepare and set up endoscopes and required equipment.
• Assist the endoscopist during procedures and monitor patient safety.
• Clean and disinfect endoscopes and procedure rooms.

Work location: Orchard

Working hours: 5.5 days work week (Mon – Fri and half Sat)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and admit patients for endoscopy procedures (i.e., gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP etc.)
• Prepare and set up endoscopes and required equipment.
• Assist the endoscopist during procedures and monitor patient safety, including those under sedation.
• Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes, procedure rooms and other equipment according to infection‑control standards.

Key Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Nursing or Specialist Diploma in Endoscopy Nursing with SNB registration
• Min. 1-2 years’ experience in nursing duties (preferably in endoscopy suite or day surgery environment)
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures, techniques, and common complications.
• Able to speak in Mandarin Chinese to liaise with Chinese‑speaking patients on a daily basis
