Job summary

IHH Healthcare is looking for a dedicated professional to lead and assist patients throughout the health screening process. You will be responsible for providing care, conducting tests such as ECG and blood drawing, and ensuring quality customer service in our Executive Health Screening Centres.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Nursing recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board, and ideally has registration with the board. Candidates with at least 3 years of Staff Nurse II experience in an acute hospital setting are favored.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board is preferred.
• Has a Valid BCLS & AED certificate.
• At least 3 years of Staff Nurse II experience in an acute hospital setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients upon arrival at Health Screening centre.
• Explain waiting times and procedures to patients.
• Reassure patients and relatives to reduce anxiety.
• Run ECG/TMX, Blood Drawing, and other tests.
• Assist in preparation of health screening medical reports.

Job description

Responsible for leading / helping patients to understand the process of going through Health Screening procedures in Executive Health Screening Centres. Responsible for patient care and performing various tests (ECG/TMX, Blood Drawing, Parameters measurement) for health screening patients, following appropriate protocols and maintain quality customer service

Key accountabilities

1. Welcome patient upon patient’s arrival at Health Screening centre with friendly attitude, be helpful and attend to patient/ relatives immediately upon their arrival.
2. Explain the waiting time based on individual Dr time slot and types of procedure that patient is going for on the day.
3. Reassure the patient and relatives to allay anxiety if demonstrated / verbalized by the patient /relatives.
4. Answer relevant questions appropriately, seek help from the Senior personal when necessary.
5. Run ECG/TMX, Blood Drawing, Parameters measurements for health screening patients and all associated tests.
6. Provide patient care support.
7. Provide administrative support.
8. Assist in preparation of health screening medical reports by typing and checking them before sending out to patients listed address.
9. Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Diploma in Nursing or equivalent and recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board.
2. Registered with Singapore Nursing Board is preferred.
3. Post Basic and Degree in Nursing.
