Ang Mo Kio-Thye Hua Kwan Hospital Ltd is seeking a dialysis nurse to participate in assessment, implementation and evaluation of dialysis outcomes. You will perform cannulation and treatments, uphold infection control, and guide junior staff to ensure high‑quality patient care.

The role requires 2+ years of dialysis experience, valid SNB registration, and a 6‑day work week including weekends and public holidays. Collaboration with dietitians and hospital teams is essential for patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Nursing recognised by Singapore Nursing Board.
• At least 2 years of relevant dialysis centre experience.
• Valid registration with Singapore Nursing Board.
• 6-day work week (including weekends and public holidays).

Aufgaben

• Participate in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of quality dialysis outcomes.
• Perform Hemodialysis cannulation and treatment for patients according to standards and guidelines.
• Practise proper infection control procedures based on current guidelines.
• Guide and direct enrolled nurses to ensure quality nursing care is rendered to patients.
• Record informative, accurate and concise notes on Hemodialysis treatments, blood results and parameters.
• Administer IV antibiotics, IV erythropoietin and blood transfusions during Hemodialysis per standards of practice.
• Collect water samples for culture to maintain safe water standards.
• Collaborate with hospital staff on blood investigations and follow-up.
• Educate patients on nutrition and fluid compliance with Dietician.
• Take appropriate nursing actions in emergencies that affect patient safety.

Job Description

• Participate in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of quality dialysis outcome.
• Perform Hemodialysis cannulation and treatment for patients according to the standards practice and guideline.
• Practise proper infection control procedures based on current infection control guidelines.
• Guide and direct the enrolled nurse level and below, to ensure that quality nursing care is rendered to patient at all times.
• Record informative, accurate and concise statement on the Hemodialysis treatment, blood results and Parameters.
• Administer intravenous antibiotics, IV Erythropoietin and Blood Transfusion during Hemodialysis treatment with standard of practice.
• Collect water sampling for water culture to maintain safe water standard guideline.
• Work closely together with respective hospital for blood investigation and follow up.
• Work closely with Dietician and educate patient on nutritional status and fluid compliance.
• Take appropriate nursing actions in emergency situations that compromise patient safety.
