COMPANY DESCRIPTION

THK MC offers assistance to diverse community groups through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide nursing care, including medication administration, treatment, emergency response, and supervision of residents' personal hygiene.
2. Teach, guide, and discipline residents appropriately.
3. Maintain the general cleanliness of the premises.
4. Keep the treatment room, sickbay, time-out room, and nurse's station clean and organized.

Duties

1. Screen, treat, and provide nursing care to sick residents.
2. Conduct routine procedures for new admissions and residents returning from absconding.
3. Refer residents for medical examination by doctors.
4. Arrange appointments and transportation for residents attending hospital and polyclinic visits.
5. Follow up on referred residents and update their medical records daily, including diagnosis, treatment, transfers, appointments, and discharges.
6. Administer medication and supervise residents during meal times.
7. Provide first-aid treatment in emergencies and refer ill residents to hospitals if necessary.
8. Supervise Assistant Nurses, Nursing Aides, and Health Attendants.
9. Oversee residents attending morning school or going to work.
10. Investigate incidents within the Home and update the Superintendent and Manager.
11. Order and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
12. Perform any additional duties assigned by the Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Recognized nursing qualification and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Preferably at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Comfortable working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Work locations: Chai Chee, Sembawang, Eunos, Jurong East.
