Job Description:
  • Comply with MOH & SNB standards of nursing practices.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the nursing home residents.
  • Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan, recommends revision of care plans as necessary.
  • Work with allied health professionals, initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
  • Conduct and supervise assessments of all new admissions.
  • Prepare and update clinical documentations.
  • Prepare and administer medications to residents, comply with safe medication practices.
  • Supervise and train junior nurses & support care staff.
  • Work with supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
  • Deal with any emergency that arises and ensures prompt actions to mitigate the situation. Escalates promptly to supervisor, where necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in the nursing home.
Requirements:
