Analytics and Business Intelligence at Coda

As part of our Analytics and BI team, you will work with top-notch Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deliver actionable insights that drive measurable business performance. You will dive deep into datasets encompassing hundreds of millions of transactions processed across 250+ payment channels worldwide, including e-wallets, credit cards, and direct carrier billing. Our gamers and digital content consumers span 60+ countries, giving you a truly global perspective on data analysis.

On top of that, collaborating closely with our Marketing, Product, Risk, Finance, and Business Development teams gives you the opportunity to leverage statistical modelling and machine learning algorithms to uncover complex patterns and insights.

Responsibilities

• As a ML Scientist, you’ll be joining a cross‑functional team of other Data Scientists and Data Engineers. You will be focusing on deriving and delivering insights that generate real impact on business performance.
• At Coda, you will be working with datasets of hundreds of millions of transactions processed across hundreds of different payment channels, such as e-wallets, credit cards, direct carrier billing and over‑the‑counter by gamers and digital content consumers in 64 countries around the world.
• You will be working closely with the Marketing, Product, Risk, Finance and Business Development teams to apply statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns from complex datasets with billions of records.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science, data engineering or back‑end engineering
• Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL. Proficiency in Scala and Java will be an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning, Algorithms, Statistics and Mathematics
• Experienced in building large scale machine learning projects
• Experienced in running machine learning tests and experiments and fine‑tuning using results
• Experienced in designing and deploying complex ML workflows using Kubeflow and Airflow

• Experienced in working with data streaming tools such as Spark Streaming and Kafka
• Experienced in Monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues with data pipelines
• Prior experience in mentoring and coaching junior data scientists
• Collaborative, curious, and have a team‑oriented mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and familiar with working in cross‑functional teams
