Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Architect(equivalent to Microsoft Staff Engineer lead the design, development, and optimisation of scalable, high-performance web and cloud applications. You will define end-to-end architecture, drive technical excellence, and mentor engineering teams while ensuring best practices in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Node.js, and cloud-native development. This role requires deep expertise in frontend and backend systems, micro-services, DevOps, and security to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Architectural Leadership and Strategy

• Define full-stack architecture for scalable, performant, and secure web applications.
• Lead POCs, RFCs, and design reviews for critical initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend modern tech stacks(React vs. Angular, Node.js vs. . NET Core).
• Drivemicro-services, serverless, and event-driven architectures
• Ensure SLA compliance(99.99% uptime, low-latency APIs, CI/CD automation).

Frontend Engineering Excellence

• Architect high-performance SPAs using React/Angular, TypeScript, and modern CSS (Tailwind/SASS).
• OptimizeWeb Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS)for SEO and UX.
• Implement state management(Redux, NgRx, React Query).
• Ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness.

Backend and Cloud-Native Development

• Design RESTful and GraphQL APIs in Node.js, Express, and NestJS.
• Build real-time systems(WebSockets, Server-Sent Events).
• Optimise database performance(PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Deploy serverless and containerised apps(AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes).

DevOps and Observability

• Lead CI/CD pipelines(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Implement IaC (Terraform)for cloud provisioning.
• Configure monitoring and logging(Datadog, New Relic, ELK Stack).
• Enforce security best practices(OWASP, CSP, JWT/OAuth 2.0).

Mentorship and Engineering Culture

• Mentor senior and junior engineers in full-stack best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, architecture guilds, and tech talks.
• Foster innovation through hackathons and R& D initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years in full-stack development, 5+ years in an architect or staff engineer role.
• Expertise in React/Angular and Node.js at scale(1M+ users).
• Proven experience in cloud-native architectures(AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong leadership in Agile/DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication for stakeholder alignment.
