Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating designs of modules, structures, and fixtures in mechanical engineering.
- Complete the design process, including feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design using 3D solid modeling, analysis, procurement of prototype parts, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and testing at system and subsystem levels.
- Manage suppliers to ensure design specifications are met.
- Execute environmental and transportation testing such as vibration, shock, and temperature tests.
- Address product concerns throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.
- Handle thermal management, vibration control, purge flow analysis, and image contamination issues.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including drawing specifications, design principles, and fabrication methods.
- Prior experience in R&D, particularly in designing mechanical precision components.
