Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for creating designs of modules, structures, and fixtures in mechanical engineering.
  2. Complete the design process, including feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design using 3D solid modeling, analysis, procurement of prototype parts, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
  3. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and testing at system and subsystem levels.
  4. Manage suppliers to ensure design specifications are met.
  5. Execute environmental and transportation testing such as vibration, shock, and temperature tests.
  6. Address product concerns throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.
  7. Handle thermal management, vibration control, purge flow analysis, and image contamination issues.
  8. Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Doctorate (Academic) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including drawing specifications, design principles, and fabrication methods.
  4. Prior experience in R&D, particularly in designing mechanical precision components.
