Job description
What the role is:

In this role, you will help to steer Singapore’s long-term social cohesion and resilience agenda, which is a WOG Policy Priority. This involves spotting emerging challenges, driving ambition on complex, inter‑dependent issues that cut across traditional boundaries (e.g. fostering social mix and mixing, building a “We First” society) and developing/strengthening structures and systems to track progress. A key part of this role will involve sharpening your engagement skills as you work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including political officers, public sector agencies, civic organisations and citizens. Overall, the role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to system changes and shaping of policies that will safeguard Singapore’s social fabric for generations to come.

What we are looking for:
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data to develop policy analyses.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A strong team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to handle ambiguity and uncertainties.
  • Able to take on a long-term and system’s perspective, and look beyond current events and near‑term operations.
