Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing quality customer service.
  • Receive, unpack, and check stocks against appropriate documents.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas and prepare for daily operations.
  • Supervise pharmacy assistants for smooth operations.
  • Assist the pharmacist in drug supplies distribution.
  • Perform medication reconciliation for inpatients.
Job description
  • Assist in providing quality customer service.
  • Receive, unpack, and check stocks against the appropriate documents, to ensure that items supplied are correct and accounted for.
  • Arrange stocks in FEFO order.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of stocks in the areas of work.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of work areas and prepare work areas for daily operations.
  • Embrace continuous improvements as our way of life by improving and refining work performance daily.
  • Plan schedule for topping up of medications generated by cart-fill orders.
  • Supervise pharmacy assistants to ensure smooth day to day operations.
  • Foster continuous improvements as our way of life by encouraging staff efforts at improving processes to achieve clinical quality and operational excellence
  • Other duties as directed by the supervisors.
  • Supports the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities and etc.
  • IN PATIENT
  • Assist the pharmacist in typing, packing, and distribution of drug supplies to the wards and other hospital departments.
  • Perform physical medication reconciliation for inpatients.
  • Amend medications that have been discontinued.
  • Assist in the Medibox and Home Delivery services.
  • Manage patient flow and queries at reception.
