Alcon is seeking a Site Head of Procurement for its AML and CVJ manufacturing sites in Singapore/Johor. You will lead all site-level procurement and strategic sourcing activities across Chemicals, Packaging, CAPEX/MRO and Services, ensuring cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
You will partner with Operations, MS&T, Finance and Global Procurement to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, and drive value creation.

As the Procurement Site Head for the manufacturing sites in Singapore (AML) and Johor (CVJ), you will be responsible for leading all site-level procurement and strategic sourcing activities across Chemicals, Primary & Secondary Packaging, CAPEX/MRO, and General Services categories. Your primary role is to ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity, contract coverage, and strong supplier performance in support of manufacturing and business objectives. This role serves on both Site Leadership Teams as the primary procurement interface for the sites, partners closely with Operations, MS&T, Finance, and Global Procurement, and leads a high-performing local procurement team.
Serve as the primary procurement leader and point of contact for the AML and CVJ sites, ensuring full alignment with site leadership and operational priorities. Act as a trusted business partner to Site Leadership, Operations, MS&T, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to support production, cost, and growth objectives. Translate site needs into clear sourcing strategies aligned with global procurement direction.
Develop and execute category and site-level sourcing strategies to ensure cost competitiveness, risk mitigation, and supply resilience. Identify, quantify, and deliver productivity, cost reduction, and value creation initiatives across direct and indirect spend. Lead business case development, scenario analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluations to support sourcing decisions.
Lead supplier performance management, including KPIs, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for critical suppliers. Ensure contract coverage, pricing agreements, and enforcement of commercial and performance terms. Proactively identify and mitigate supplier, capacity, and geopolitical risks impacting the AML and CVJ sites.
Own site-level procurement budgeting, spend tracking, and variance analysis in partnership with Finance and MS&T. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, SOX requirements, and ethical sourcing standards. Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, governance, and controls.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing site procurement team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Champion data-driven decision-making and adoption of procurement tools and analytics.
