Overview

As the Regional Health System (RHS) for Central-North Singapore, it is vital for NHG to partner and collaborate with stakeholders, community advisors, and voluntary welfare organisations. Together with our patients, their families and caregivers, we aim to deliver integrated healthcare services and programmes that help in Adding Years of Healthy Life to all concerned.

Responsibilities

This role plays an important part to

  1. Facilitate cluster medical workforce planning and support strategic initiatives across institutions.
  2. Work with the Talent Acquisition team on cluster medical manpower planning for NHG Health taking guidance from parameters related to workforce transformation and productivity
  3. Facilitate engagements with Senior Management, Government agencies and healthcare professions on sectoral manpower productivity and optimisation initiatives, including but not limited to the planning of year-round agenda for committee meetings as well as close follow-up of outstanding items, working with other stakeholders including MOH on data and document submission, and outcome measurement. Currently there are 3 committees (Hospital Clinician, Medical Productivity Workforce Council and MOH Productivity Council (Medical)).
  4. Provide secretariat support to the NHG Medical Manpower Council including the appointment of council members, setting of agenda, following up of outstanding items and tracking of outcomes.
  5. Develop overarching cluster-wide direction and framework for the recruitment of International Fellows. This also includes overseeing the implementation and management of cluster-funded programme with the institution representatives.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Experience in healthcare workforce planning or medical manpower management is preferred
  • Strong understanding of Singapore's healthcare system and medical workforce regulations
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and committee work
  • Experience in data analysis and outcome measurement and the use of AI tools in data analysis, word writing and manpower planning
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare productivity frameworks
  • Experience in healthcare transformation initiatives
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders including MOH officials and senior medical professionals
