Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking a Process Steward to enhance equipment performance by collaborating with suppliers and internal teams. This role focuses on assessing workstation capacity, developing actionable plans for risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with quality management processes. Strong inter-departmental relationships and proactive engagement in improvements are essential. The candidate will also be involved in new material qualifications and maintain process standards.

  • Assess capacity of workstations to identify throughput opportunities.
  • Develop action plans for risk mitigation and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with OI team for scheduling and automation rollouts.
  • Manage constraints with section managers and engineers.
  • Assist in new material introduction and qualification.
  • Build strong relationships with various departments.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Work with Equipment Section Managers, Equipment Engineers and Procurement to collaborate with Equipment Suppliers to drive equipment performance continual improvements
  • Work with the PEE Engineering and IE to assess and audit the capacity of each workstation in the strategic and tactical timeframe, identify increased throughput opportunities as well as risks to meet Cycle Time and Business Plan goals.
  • Develop action plans to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks. Develop organization resource plans, training plans and business processes within organization operation to meet Business Plan.
  • Work with OI team on area scheduling, automation, and line management systems and successfully roll out to the shift team. Work with Engineering team on tool qualification, release and install requirements, and maintenance priorities.
  • Work with area section managers, area shift engineers, PEE Shift lead engineers, and PEE area managers on area constraint management/improvements (dynamic constraints).
  • Work with PEE engineering team on new material introduction and qualification. Work with PIE and SIC team on new technology node and new part types line readiness matrix.
  • Work closely with other departments to meet the needs of the Fab and build strong peer relationships.
  • All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame. For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for: Ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements; Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs; Reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management; Ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization; Ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented; Ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • As a Site Process Steward/Key Assistant with the responsibilities: Is an active member in business process review and improvement discussions among the site and the System Level Process team; Hold site process review (quarterly for non-manufacturing processes and monthly for manufacturing processes); Responsible for introducing standard methods and deploying standard tools to his site; Accountable for organizing process audits and demonstrating compliance to standards; Act as the point of contact for bi-directional process, work in alignment with related steering committees and Business Alignment Teams(BATs) where applicable; Develop and maintain site specific process artifacts (when required by System Level Process); Report process performance to site management; Participate in the Business Process Management Center of Excellence (BPMCOE) when / if applicable; Maintain local procedure, workflow, checklists as job aids for the performers; Conduct regular reviews with site leadership.
