GlobalFoundries is seeking an Introduction Equipment Associate Engineer to join our Singapore fab on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will perform preventive maintenance and assist in keeping wafer fabrication equipment in optimal condition to meet module goals.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration within a diverse, global manufacturing team, with opportunities to contribute to module improvements and environmental, health, safety standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Microelectronics with 1–2 years experience.
• Good teamwork and responsible attitude.
• Willingness to support overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Troubleshooting to meet module goals.
• Follow SOPs and carry out CAS per specification and maintain tools.
• Perform 12-hour shifts to support production and ensure equipment readiness for production.
• Maintain housekeeping on production floor / sub-fab / office and maintenance areas.
• Ensure EHSS compliance and safe custody of tools and equipment.
• Participate in Module improvement activities.
• Provide proper and accurate passed down of line issues and documentation (fill up and file the checklists).
• Adhere to EHSS policies and maintain a healthy and safe workplace.

Introduction Equipment Associate Engineer to perform 12-hrs rotating shift to carry out Preventive Maintenance & assist Equipment Engineer to upkeep the wafer fabrication equipment.

Your Job:

• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Troubleshooting of equipment to ensure success & survival rate to meet module goals.
• Follow SOP, carry out CAS per specification and execute good maintenance of support tool.
• Perform shift duties (12-hours shift) to support the running of production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production floor / sub-fab / office and maintenance support areas.
• Ensure and follow good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module.
• Participate in Module improvement activities.
• Provide proper and accurate passed down of line issues and documentation (fill up and file the checklists).
• Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering with 1 to 2 years working experience in Electrical / Electronics industry.
• Good Team Player, truthful, logical and responsible attitude.
• Self-motivated, meticulous, disciplined and able to support overtime.
