Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks an experienced Lithography Process Engineer to support 200mm/300mm CMOS, Photonics and Power platforms. You will startup and qualify new processes and equipment, troubleshoot daily issues, and drive complex projects to enhance yield, quality and cost efficiency.

The role requires a degree in engineering or physical sciences and 3–4 years of lithography experience in large fabs, with strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Startup and qualify new lithography processes and equipment within schedule.
  • Troubleshoot daily lithography issues and drive projects to improve yield, quality, cost, and KPIs.
  • Analyze data from pass downs to identify chronic issues; act as technical consultant to AEs.
  • Collaborate with Process Integration/Yield teams to improve process stability and margins.
  • Review SPC/SEC, DOEs, ET, and sort yield using JMP and in-house systems.
  • Raise PCRB, manage ECNs, and ensure proper qual plans and data analysis.

Introduction

GIGA+ Fab (200mm) is seeking an experienced and motivated Lithography Process Engineer to become part of our Operations & Unit Module Team, supporting daily operations & projects in CMOS, Photonics & Power platforms.

Job description
  • Startup and qualify new process and new equipment within scheduled timeline. Work closely with Equipment Engineer on new equipment acceptance

  • Troubleshoot process issues (daily operations sustenance) and initiate/drive complex projects to improve yield/quality, cost & manufacturing KPIs in Lithography

  • Analyze data from pass down to identify chronic process issues, establish improvement programs and resolve them. Act as technical consultant to AEs. Perform tasks without error.

  • To work with Process Integration/Yield Enhancement teams to improve the process stability and process margin, achieve good quality process and cost-effective production.

  • Analyze SPC/SEC charts, review split lots, DOE data, ET, sort yield using JMP & other in-house systems.

  • Raise PCRB and understand the requirement for PCRB opening, follow through with qual plan, analyze data using required software and CR closure.

  • Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, or spec update with ECN

  • To keep projects/investigations on track and report progress/roadblocks to your manager

  • To author technical papers internally or externally to improve industry knowledge

  • Responsible and accountable forcomplying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS)system, policies,procedures and guidelinesthat are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.

Required Qualifications
  • Degreein Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering or physical science disciplines is required

  • At least 3-4 years working experience in Lithography in 200mm or 300mm fabs preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different cultures

  • Willingness to work on weekend swing shift (Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat) and support overtime as per business needs

  • Good ownership & accountability, self-motivated, meticulous and discipline

  • Collaborative
