Job summary

Straive is seeking a hands-on Senior Solution Engineer to design, build, and operate robust cloud-native data and AI solutions. The role emphasizes strong software fundamentals with deep AWS and Snowflake experience in Singapore. You will design end-to-end pipelines, optimize Snowflake datasets, and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Proficiency in Python and Java is required, with familiarity in AWS AI services and AI-assisted tools.

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Solution Engineer to design, build, and operate robust cloud-native data and AI solutions. This role is ideal for experienced engineers who combine strong software fundamentals with deep practical expertise in AWS and Snowflake.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and operate production-grade data & AI solutions end-to-end.
• Develop scalable, secure, and well-governed pipelines across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Model and optimize Snowflake datasets for performance, consistency, and usability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery.
• Build cloud-native integrations and automation using AWS services.
• Own deployment, release, and production operations with strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software/Data Engineering, AI/ML, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
• Deep hands-on AWS and Snowflake expertise (certifications preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Familiarity with AWS AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock) and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools as part of daily workflow.
• Background in financial services is a plus.
