Overview

Sr / Asst Manager (Data Analyst), Office of Clinical Epidemiology, Analytics & kNowledge (OCEAN) We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and analytical Data Management and Reporting Data Analyst to join our team. The successful individual will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation’s compliance with regulatory requirement through accurate and timely data analysis and reporting. He/she will also be responsible for collecting, extracting, managing, and analysing data to provide insights that drive decision-making and enhance the organisation’s operations.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, extract, clean and manage data from various sources
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security
  • Design, develop and maintain database to efficiently store, manage, and secure structured data for easy retrieval, analysis, and decision-making
  • Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and adapt reporting processes accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to gather data and report requirements
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Interpret data and provide actionable recommendation for process improvement
  • Present data insights and communicate findings, results, and recommendations to stake holders
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data processing and reporting processes
  • Provide insights and recommendation to improve compliance and reporting efficiency
  • Continuously improve and automate the data extraction, integration, and database management processes
  • Contribute to the development of data related strategy and initiatives
  • Provide project management support in IT related projects that the department is involved with
  • Work beyond routine work responsibilities and office hours, in the exigencies of services (e.g. during infectious disease outbreaks and mass casualty incident)
  • Carry out any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor and/or the Head of Department
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Data Management and Reporting
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g. SAS, R, MS Excel, MS Access, Python, SQL query)
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QlikView/Qlik Sense)
  • Prior hands-on experience in using OAS/OBIEE to create dashboards and to generate comprehensive reports preferred
  • Prior hands-on experiences in UiPath (RPA software) will have added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
  • Have critical thinking, attention to details and a commitment to data accuracy
  • Preferably work experience in health-related setting such as hospitals, public health organizations and academic institutions
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to mentor junior staff in the team (for Senior Executive)
