Job Summary
  • To work with Relationship Managers in achieving the target number of referrals and conversion.
  • To train the Relationship Managers via regular training, workshops and case‑studies in order to deliver on product knowledge, insurance proposition/pitch, processes and sharing of new ideas.
  • Ensure sales target is met.
  • To generate ideas and action plan on increasing sales activity and other relevant financial drivers.
Responsibility: Customer Management
  • To conduct fact find, insurance need analysis for clients and ensure prompt advise and solutions are offered to clients.
  • To ensure a systematic review process for existing policyholders.
  • To ensure that customer enquiries are promptly attended to.
Processes – Sales Reporting & Management
  • To provide prompt and regular reporting of leads, sales activity and pipeline cases.
  • Work closely with internal partners (e.g. Relationship Managers, fiduciary, and credit teams) and external partners (e.g. insurance providers) on case management.
People & Talent
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
Compliance
  • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.
  • To ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
  • To adhere strictly to the FAA & good practices guideline, including attending weekly/monthly coaching, meeting & obtaining the required CPD hours.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
