Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned SQL DBA to manage and support Microsoft SQL Server databases in production. The role emphasizes high availability, performance, security, and data integrity, with strong focus on backup, recovery, and DR planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SQL DBA experience in large or business-critical environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, backup and recovery.
• Experience with database migrations and upgrades.
• Understanding of database security and access management.
• Azure/cloud database experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in shipping/logistics or asset-based businesses is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and own the database environment.
