Job summary

Seagate Technology is seeking a proactive maintenance professional for its Woodlands, Singapore, facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and product conversion of sputtering tools used in magnetic media manufacturing, with opportunities to engage in data analytics and continuous improvements.

You will work in a clean room environment, supporting both electrical and mechanical aspects, and participate in 12-hour shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Data analysis and MS Office skills are required.
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering or an ITE qualification is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion of the sputtering tool.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and follow up on chronic machine problems.
• Collaborate with process and equipment engineers on tool reliability and defect reduction.
• Suggest ideas to improve OEE, safety, and cost efficiency while supporting continuous improvements.
• Be trained in vacuum technology fundamentals and data analytics for tool troubleshooting.
