Job description
About Mosaic Global

At Mosaic Global, we are leaders in innovative education, guided by our unique "play-inspired learning" philosophy. We believe in developing the whole child—cognitively, emotionally, socially, and physically. We are looking for a dynamic educator who shares our passion for making learning, including physical education, a joyful and engaging adventure.

We operate Mosaic Preschool (for early years) and Mosaic Play Academy (MPA, for primary-aged children), creating a seamless developmental journey for families.

The Role: Sports Program Pioneer

We are seeking an energetic and creative Sports Teacher to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to design, build, and deliver a foundational sports program together with the team.

You will be part of the team for creating a curriculum and leading classes that instill a lifelong love of movement, health, and teamwork in children from preschool (N1-K2) through primary school (MPA). This role is not just about teaching sports; it's about integrating our play-inspired philosophy into every activity, focusing on skill development, confidence, and positive sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and document a comprehensive, age-appropriate sports and physical education (PE) curriculum for both Mosaic Preschool and Mosaic Play Academy. The curriculum must align with our "play-inspired learning" ethos, focusing on inquiry, exploration, and fun.
  • Teaching & Facilitation: Lead engaging, safe, and inclusive sports lessons for diverse age groups. This includes fundamental motor skills and active play for preschoolers, as well as foundational sports skills and game rules for primary-aged children.
  • Program Management: Manage all sports equipment, ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, and create a positive, non-intimidating environment for all students.
  • Holistic Integration: Collaborate with our classroom teachers and specialists (like the Inclusive Coordinator) to ensure the sports program supports the holistic development goals for every child.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Monitor and assess student progress in a constructive, encouraging manner, providing feedback to parents as required.
Who We Are Looking For
  • A "Play" Advocate: You must have a genuine passion for play-based, inquiry-led learning and understand how to apply it to physical education.
  • An Experienced Educator: You have proven experience (minimum 2+ years preferred) teaching sports or PE to young children, ideally across both preschool and primary age groups.
  • A Curriculum Builder: You have demonstrable experience in planning and developing a sports curriculum, not just following one.
  • A Dynamic Leader: You are energetic, patient, and have an exceptional ability to connect with and motivate young children.
  • A Team Player: You are collaborative, communicative, and eager to contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Qualifications: A diploma or degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Early Childhood Education (with a PE specialization), or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Safety First: Standard First Aid and CPR/AED certification is required (or must be obtained upon hiring).
Why Join Us?
  • Flexibility: This position is available on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis, and we are happy to discuss a schedule that works for the right candidate.
  • A Culture of Joy: Join a team that is passionate, supportive, and truly believes in the power of play.
  • Impact: Make a foundational difference in the health and well-being of hundreds of children.
