Job summary

Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) invites applications for ELI 411 - Spoken English in the university context. The course covers preparation and delivery of individual and group presentations, understanding and practice of American idiomatic speech, and improvement of pronunciation with feedback from videotaped presentations.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. or Master’s degree, at least 2 years of tertiary teaching experience, course design and assessment expertise, daytime weekday

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a related discipline from a reputable university.
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred.
• 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage.
• Course design and implementation based on UB syllabus and textbook.
• Assessment of students.
• Must be available to teach daytime on weekdays.
• Familiarity with Blackboard/ D2L is a plus.
