Speech and Language Therapist

Full Time, Permanent / Locum

Trained at min Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology/Therapy

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide individualized Speech Therapy intervention for children with speech and language challenges (e.g. dyspraxia or speech delays)
• Conduct group speech and language classes
• Establish good therapist‑parent relationships through regular feedback and open communication. This includes providing parents and caregivers with updates on the child’s progress and relevant home strategies and recommendations after each session with the child.
• Be proactive in keeping abreast of developments in the field of Pediatric Speech Therapy

Requirements

• Trained at min Bachelor or Master degree in Speech‑Language Pathology/Therapy
• Possess at least 2 years’ experience as an Speech Therapist
• Full registration with Allied Health Professions Council
