Job summary

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Specialist, On-site to ensure safe, reliable operation of on-site units and support planned shutdown maintenance. You will respond quickly to interruptions, investigate root causes, and assist with new projects including commissioning and IMS compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with E&I in plant operations, sensors, transmitters, PLCs, and LV power distribution, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering preferred.
• Experience in continuous plant maintenance and operations.
• Experience troubleshooting E&I in plant operations (sensors, transmitters, valves, actuators, analyzers, PLC, LV panels).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective on-site maintenance services for electrical & instrumentation systems.
• Support on-site planning and execution of shutdown maintenance activities.
• Respond swiftly to supply interruptions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis (8D) for incidents and implement corrective actions.

You will support the on-site manager in his planning and execution of all planned shutdown maintenance activities. When there are any interruptions of supply, you are responsible to respond swiftly to the event in order to minimize the downtime of the interruption. You are also responsible to investigate and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of the event. In new projects, you will be called upon to support the technical review as well as the commissioning activities. To ensure the long term performance of our assets, you are responsible for compliance to the industrial management system (IMS) and support the deployment of technical initiatives sponsored by IM-ROC or IM-WBL.## How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?* Provide effective and efficient maintenance services for all on-site plants.* Ensures the maintenance activities are within project schedule, budget and customers requirements are met.* Manage the maintenance and operation procedure; and adhere to local regulatory and corporate safety and industrial standards.* Constantly review and perform gap analysis for IMS (GP/GT/GE) compliance.* Ensure identified action plans are followed and closely timely.* Prepares and maintains the necessary documentations to support audits.* Constantly innovate and seek new ways of working to generate savings or simplify work processes.* Comply to the management of the change process defined by IM and support the evaluation.* Propose ideas to generate SMART savings without compromising safety and reliability.* Adopt and implement initiatives sponsored by IM-WBL and IM-ROC.* Perform root cause analysis (8D reports) for incidents.* Analyze reliability performance to uncover trends and areas of improvements.* Supports the on-site manager for the reporting of reliability performance and in the explanation of incident reports to customers.* Provide recommendations for method of repair.## Are you a MATCH?* Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering is preferred* Experience in continuous plant maintenance and operations* Experience in working and troubleshooting of E&I in plant operations such as sensors and transmitters, control valves and actuators, analyzers, PLC, power distribution for LV panels, calibration of transmitters and analyzers, loop checking for across sensors and control.* Ability to take a “hands-on” approach in troubleshooting and problem solving in plant machinery including PLC, instrumentation & control, etc.* Ability to travel to customer sites and neighboring countries when required to support maintenance activities* Possession of class 3 license will be added advantage.\*\*We thank you for your interest in Air Liquide.
