Job Description
- Oversee the set-up, operation, and maintenance of all Audio-Visual (AV) systems at University Hall and other key venues.
- Provide reliable, high-quality AV support for senior management meetings and other high-level events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly to ensure smooth proceedings and a positive experience for all participants.
- Evaluate and recommend upgrades to improve system performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Plan and coordinate timely replacement of AV equipment to minimise operational downtime.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders including the Office of the President, ExCo, and key departments to plan and deliver AV requirements for meetings and events.
- Monitor system performance, maintain detailed records of usage and servicing, and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Undertake other duties as assigned to support event operations and service excellence etc.
Qualifications
- Diploma with at least 3 to 5 years’ of relevant working experience in AV system is preferred.
- Knowledge and competencies in handling of AV equipment will be viewed as an advantage.
- Have experience managing operators/vendors.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with good critical thinking.
- Possess the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meeting timelines.
- Able to work both independently and as a team.
