Support on Reinsurance Management, Reinsurance Accounting and Reporting Functions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Reinsurance (RI) related accounting posting and reporting as part of the monthly/quarterly process for outward reinsurance.
- Prepare RI statement of account (SOA) for outward reinsurance, liaise with reinsurers to clarify on queries and to process the settlement upon confirmation of the RI SOA.
- Prepare financial account balance reconciliations between the ledger and RI SOA for all outward reinsurance on a quarterly basis.
- Attend to audit queries on reinsurance accounting, processes and controls.
- Support on the set up and testing of new RI transaction in the administration system and accounting system.
- Support in reinsurance treaty arrangement (RI approval process, treaty review and documentation), treaty performance monitoring and review.
- Support on internal and regulatory reporting requirements related to RI.
- any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned to support the department function
Requirements
- Meticulous and detailed-oriented.
- Advanced MS Excel, basic SQL and Tableau skills
