Job summary

An established educational foundation in Singapore is seeking an individual for weekend sessions focused on early childhood intervention. Key responsibilities include classroom management, curriculum planning, and collaboration with allied health professionals. Applicants should have an advanced diploma in Early Childhood Intervention and experience working with students with learning disabilities. Strong English language skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Advanced diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs).
  • Teaching experience in EIPIC would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of AEPS and Brigance would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with young students with learning disabilities – minimum one year.
  • Strong command of the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Manage classroom activities and ensure effective learning.
  • Document and report student behaviour and progress.
  • Prepare lesson plans tailored for EIPIC.
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals.
  • Plan and implement necessary interventions.
  • Oversee curriculum planning and academic documentation.
  • Create individualized lesson plans and IEPs.
  • Conduct enrollment assessments and manage student records.
  • Communicate with parents and staff as needed.
Job description

Operating at MindChamps Allied Care @ Siglap

Primarily for WEEKEND (Saturday mornings) sessions.

Weekday sessions on ad hoc basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Classroom Management
  • Behaviour Documentation and Reporting
  • Setting up Lesson plans for EIPIC
  • Conduct team meetings with Allied Health Care Professionals such as Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, and Psychologist
  • Planning and implementation of social/emotional/behavioural Interventions
  • Curriculum and Instruction responsibilities such as planning, documentation and reporting of academic data/progress and applying interventions
  • Curriculum mapping, individually-design instruction, individualized lesson-planning and IEPs
  • Conduct Enrollment assessments, manage grading, homework (using AEPS framework)
  • Maintain student records and communicate frequently with parents and school staff as needed

Requirements
