Job description

This is a high-impact opportunity to support the President of Climate Solutions AME and the AME leadership team in executing the organization's strategic vision and driving revenue growth. The Special Assistant will play a pivotal role in enabling leadership effectiveness, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and building business acumen through exposure to strategic decision-making and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support & Strategic Advisory
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the President and key stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely execution of priorities.
  • Provide strategic counsel and thought leadership on key decisions, initiatives, and organizational challenges.
Leadership Team Enablement
  • Own and manage leadership team rhythms, including meeting agendas, action tracking, and follow-through.
  • Coordinate development of executive briefings, board presentations, and internal town hall materials.
  • Oversee annual goal alignment process for the leadership team.
Program & Project Management
  • Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, including long‑range planning (LRP), digital transformation, and connected ecosystem programs.
  • Define deliverables, timelines, and ownership across strategic projects and ensure accountability.
  • Monitor KPIs and business performance metrics to inform decision-making and course correction.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Develop and refine executive‑level communications for internal and external audiences, including Carrier Board, ELT, and key customer events.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments and ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
  • Coordinate presentation development and polish for major events and customer visits.
Competitive Intelligence & Investor Relations
  • Track and analyze competitor earnings releases, extracting key insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate timely responses to investor relations requests, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and leadership priorities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Management.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, business development, or product management.
  • 3+ years' experience with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation development.
  • 3+ years' experience with strong analytical acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • 3+ years' experience in demonstrated skills in storyboarding and presentation development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or post‑graduate degree.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Carrier’s organizational structure, products, and strategic priorities.
  • Experience in functional areas such as Strategy, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with competing priorities.Strong desire for cross‑functional exposure and leadership development.
