Job description

Provides technical expertise to drive operation excellence and improvements in polyolefins polymerization processes. Support manufacturing assets in achieving reliable operations and enhancing business competitiveness through activities including but not limited to new initiatives development, lead or support manufacturing trials and investigations, new technology development and deployment. Mentor and build capabilities of less experienced engineers within their technical discipline.

Job requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in chemical or petroleum engineering, with relevant experience in polyolefins or elastomers process manufacturing.
• Possess a minimum of fifteen years’ manufacturing experience in polyolefins or elastomers processes.
• Have an in-depth understanding of fundamental polyolefins/elastomer polymerization process engineering and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical leadership across multiple projects or operations
• Experience with production trials, startups and scale-up processes, ability to lead team through these initiatives, prior supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
• Intellectual rigor, strong drive, and desire to improve processes
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural global team
• Skilled in identifying opportunities within existing process conditions and implementing improvement ideas.
• Ability to handle workload efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and adapting to shifting priorities
