Job summary

IMan Investment is seeking a Partner for Regional Strategy & Investment Planning covering Southeast Asia. You will lead regional strategy, investment planning, and policy-informed opportunities across Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and other markets.

Based in Singapore or another ASEAN hub with hybrid/remote flexibility, you will connect government and market dynamics to IMan’s Asia Pacific investment platform, collaborating with regional leadership and portfolio teams.

Qualifications

At least 10 years in VC, growth investing, or strategy roles in SEA.
Strong network in two major Southeast Asian markets.
Excellent English; additional SEA languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel regionally and work remote/hybrid.
Bachelor’s degree; MBA or public policy preferred.

Responsibilities

Own Southeast Asia regional strategy and investment planning for IMan Investment.
Track ASEAN policy, digitalisation, infrastructure, fintech regulation and incentive programs.
Translate government and market catalysts into sector theses and pipelines.
Source equity investments and strategic partnerships across Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and related markets.
Cultivate relationships with founders, corporates, development institutions and ecosystem partners.
Deliver briefs and investment recommendations to Partners and the investment committee.
Collaborate with Hong Kong leadership on capital allocation and cross-border support for portfolio companies.
Represent IMan in regional strategy dialogues with high diligence standards.
