Job summary

A prominent hotel in Singapore is seeking a culinary team member to support the Executive Chef in daily operations and assist with food preparation. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, is customer-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role may involve rotating shifts and working on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and the team in ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Assist Chefs with creation and preparation of cuisine in our Local / Western Kitchen.
• Check that the quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored properly.
• Requisition all food items from the stores for functions as required.
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment and guide culinary colleagues.
• Work closely and cooperate with other chefs and team members.

• Check that quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper conditions
• Requisition all food items from the stores for functions as required, in conjunction with Executive Chef.
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times and to give guidance to all culinary colleagues.
• Work closely and cooperates with other chefs, superiors, colleagues and subordinates in order to achieve highest possible satisfaction of food items
