Job summary
A leading restaurant in Singapore seeks a culinary professional to design and prepare food and beverage menus while ensuring quality standards and managing kitchen staff. The ideal candidate must effectively solve issues, fill in for the Executive Chef when required, and maintain a professional atmosphere. Experience in culinary arts and a strong understanding of kitchen operations are essential.
Responsibilities
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule.
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach.
