Job summary

Mediacorp Pte Ltd is seeking a Sound Designer to create high-quality audio for dramas, entertainment programmes, documentaries and digital content. The role spans composing, recording, foley, SFX and final mix to broadcast-ready standards.

You will collaborate with producers and directors, ensuring audio supports storytelling across stereo, surround and immersive formats while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Music, Audio Production, Sound Design or equivalent.
• Experience in audio post-production, music production, sound design or composition.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating composition and arranging.
• Proficiency with DAWs such as Pro Tools, Cubase and Logic Pro.
• Familiarity with virtual instruments, sample libraries, plug-ins and audio restoration tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement music and sound effects design for various content.
• Compose and arrange original music and mood/underscore across genres.
• Score to picture where required and write music to fit briefs.
• Record and edit vocals and live instruments.
• Design and edit SFX and foley.
• Edit and mix dialogue, music and effects to broadcast standards.
• Deliver session files and audio assets per technical specs.
• Manage projects and meet production deadlines.
