Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a Solution Specialist to demonstrate the value of innovative Mobility and IoT solutions. You will work closely with sales teams, partners, and customers to develop compelling value propositions and run proof-of-concepts. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of technical sales experience, extensive knowledge of Mobility and IoT technologies, and strong communication skills. This role requires the ability to support and enable local sales teams while driving business growth.

Job description

The Solution Specialist will be key in demonstrating the value of our product and solutions.

He/She will work closely with sales teams, partners, and customers to define and deliver innovative Mobility and IoT solutions that meet the needs of the Southeast Asia and Oceania markets. The role involves developing value propositions, running proof-of-concepts, training and supporting local sales teams, and providing technical expertise to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Development and Delivery
  • Collaborate with product teams to define and develop value propositions for Mobility and IoT solutions, including Samsung Electronics and partner solutions
  • Run proof-of-concepts and demos to showcase solution capabilities at partners, customers or regional events
  • Develop and maintain technical presentations and white papers
Sales Enablement and Support
  • Train and support local sales teams and partners on solution technical aspects and value propositions
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Support customers with technical inquiries and solution deployment
Technical Expertise and Innovation
  • Provide technical expertise on IoT protocols, mobile technology, and automation
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and solution enhancement
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales or solution specialist role
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of Mobility and IoT and related protocols and solutions
  • Good understanding of display technology, and home automation
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint are a must
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and demos to C-Level
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
