Job summary

N8XT Aerospace is seeking a Software Test Engineer to design and automate testing for our flight software products. You will build test frameworks in Python, test Flutter and JavaScript apps, and own CI/CD test pipelines, including hardware-integrated projects.

You'll collaborate with developers to ship reliable software, mentor junior team members, and continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and speed across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong Python skills with pytest.
• Experience with Dart/Flutter testing tools.
• Experience with JavaScript testing tools (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
• CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Experience working on hardware-related or embedded projects.

Responsibilities

Expected Requitements

Required

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong Python skills, including test frameworks such as pytest.
• Experience with Dart/Flutter, including Flutter's testing tools (unit, widget, and integration tests).
• Experience with JavaScript and related test tools (e.g., Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience working on hardware-related or embedded projects.
• Good knowledge of Git and Linux.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Docker.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., serial, USB, Ethernet).
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira or TestRail.
