Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Software Quality & Risk Engineer to enhance risk management and quality assurance practices within their transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in software development cycles and familiarity with ISO standards. They will work on regulatory compliance for Software-as-Medical-Device projects and support clinical risk assessments and project management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in software deployment and full software development life cycles.
• Familiar with frameworks such as GCP, AWS, SQL, and Azure.
• Exposure to ISO and Quality/Risk Management aspects in the healthcare context.

Responsibilities

Our Client is one of the leading player in healthcare industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Software Quality & Risk Engineer to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central Area - easily accessible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implement risk management best practices for innovation projects and support adoption/commercialization.
• Maintain ISO 13485 & IEC 62304-compliant quality management processes across projects.
• Provide guidance on regulatory, quality, and risk requirements for Software-as-Medical-Device (SaMD) projects.
• Perform clinical need validation, risk assessments, and de‑risking of proposed solutions.
• Support project management, grant recommendations, milestone tracking, and KPI achievement.

Requirements:

• Min Degree IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 - 8 years of experience in software deployment and full software development life cycles.
• Familiar with framework such as GCP, AWS, SQL and Azure is required.
• Exposure to ISO and Quality/Risk Management aspects in healthcare or medical context is highly desired.
