RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers to ensure quality deliverables and team growth.
  • Execute the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Analyze, design, and enhance existing programs by identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs into a fully functional system.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases through refactoring, optimization, and regular code reviews.
  • Provide proactive customer updates and ensure high satisfaction with support services.
  • Participate in a 24x7 support rotation (if applicable), ensuring system uptime and availability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, QA, and Product Owners.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and stability.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements by identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in software development and support.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java or C++.
  • Strong initiative, a positive attitude, and a passion for operational support.
  • Experience coordinating with contractors, customers, and managing resources.
  • Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with Government IT processes and compliance is a plus
