Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Java-focused lead to drive design, development, testing, and delivery of backend applications. You will guide the team on technical solutions, review designs, and ensure quality, security and performance across the codebase.

You will collaborate with project managers and architects to clarify requirements, estimate effort and plan tasks, while mentoring engineers and maintaining thorough documentation to support production operations and releases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on Java development with leadership experience.
• Solid OO programming, design patterns and architecture.
• Experience building backend services and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and DB performance considerations.
• Experience with Git, build tools, automated testing and CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and team leadership skills.
• Spring Boot or Spring Framework experience is a plus.

• Experience with Git, build tools, automated testing and CI/CD.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication and team leadership skills.

• Experience with Spring Boot or the Spring Framework is an advantage.
