Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for Open Source Security to lead teams across product areas, drive secure software practices, and scale our open-source initiatives. You will guide strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure robust security tooling is embedded in our development workflow.

You will mentor engineers, align with PMs and UX, and oversee several projects from design to deployment, balancing software quality with rapid delivery in a global environment.

• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Minimum qualifications

Preferred qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience in working with two or more from the following: open source technologies, security software development, vulnerability assessment, internet infrastructure, distributed and parallel systems, networking, or developing software systems.
• Experience with developing agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
