Contract duration – 12 months [renewable]
Responsibilities
- Lead operational readiness and transition for modernisation projects (COBOL Java backend, React frontend).
- Define, implement, and improve operational processes including monitoring, alerting, escalation, and support handover.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues and ensure system stability.
- Oversee cutover planning and knowledge transfer to long-term support and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and operational standards.
- Establish and manage SLAs/OLAs with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and business disruption.
- Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.
- Develop and manage exit plans for vendor handover or contract closure.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide updates on operational readiness and service delivery.
- Prepare and present service delivery reports and meeting materials.
- Lead maintenance project meetings, track progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and service levels.
Requirements
- Strong experience in leading application operations and production support for modernisation systems.
- Hands‑on expertise with COBOL and Java-based applications.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
- Experience in cutover planning, operational handover, and service transition.
- Familiarity with enterprise security and audit compliance standards.
- Background in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage service delivery reporting and facilitate project meetings.
- Experience in defining and managing SLAs/OLAs.
