Job summary

ByteDance Singapore is hiring a Software Engineer (SRE - Platform Services) to build and operate platform services for large-scale production systems. You will develop tools to boost engineering productivity and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with two or more: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, networking, large software systems.
• Experience with DICM, ITOM, or ITSM processes.
• Experience with GPU, big data (Hadoop/Kafka/Apache) or streaming/computing is a plus.
• 3+ years software development experience with Golang or Python.
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, protocols and web server optimization.
• Troubleshooting experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong sense of web design and user experience fundamentals.
