Job Duties
- Lead the containerization of existing systems using Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and performance.
- Refactor and optimize legacy code to improve maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Drive platform modernization initiatives, including upgrades to core and common tech stacks.
- Collaborate with vendors to design, evaluate, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Develop and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new technologies and AI integrations.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation to streamline deployment and delivery.
- Support cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored platform solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system design, architecture, and technical processes.
- Continuously research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and innovation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in software or platform engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React for full‑stack development.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and DevOps practices, including CI/CD implementation.
- Proven experience in refactoring legacy systems and optimizing large‑scale applications.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience integrating AI features is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Adaptability to learn new technologies quickly and thrive in an evolving technical environment.
